The prehistoric graves in the community Himmelpforten

Prehistoric finds testify the early settlement in the comminity area, which are partly to view in the local museum in Himmelpforten and in the countryside itself were the early civilisation is revealed.

Past witnesses are the megalith-graves in which are people from the bronze age were buried. Three stone graves, called the 'Stellberge' in Gross Sterneberg. Only after the cultivation of the Kehdinger marsh when the surface sank, were they visibly.
